Another beautiful wedding on the blog today! And this one is super close to my heart as we got to celebrate the beautiful marriage between our friends Kelly and Troy! I met Kelly in 2008 at UD when I went to visit my best friend Steph. I can't even count how many fun times we all had together when I would make weekend trips throughout our four years of college to go visit all of the girls. I remember meeting Troy our senior year of college and him and Kelly were just perfect together.
Since I didn't get to see this group of friends as often, as we all were starting to graduate and go our own ways with careers, I loved keeping in touch with Kelly through social media and seeing all of her and Troy's photos together. Troy proposed in such a romantic way on the rooftop of the Rhinegeist Brewery in Cincinnati with all of their family and friends there to celebrate. So it only made sense that they decided to go back to Rhinegeist and celebrate another huge event in their lives...their WEDDING reception!
Kelly and Troy had a beautiful garden ceremony at Ault Park. Afterwards we proceeded to make our way around Cinci for some fun bridal party portraits starting at the John Roebling Bridge, some hidden side streets, and of course ending at Rhinegeist. If you love breweries I HIGHLY suggest making a trip to Cinci and checking this place out. Not only is their beer tasty and it's amazing inside, but they have a fantastic rooftop with a beautiful skyline view (making for some awesome photos too)!
Their reception was absolutely breathtaking. Every little detail was beautiful, the food was amazing, and happiness and laughter filled the room as family and friends celebrated the newlyweds. The toasts kept everyone laughing, and the first dances were tear jerkers. I loved being able to watch Kelly and Troy share their first dance as husband and wife. Also one of my favorite parts about their special night was the dessert table...FULL OF DONUTS!!! It was incredible, and we may have taken a few home with us for the car ride back to Columbus. ;)
I'm so excited to share some of my favorite moments from Kelly and Troy's wedding day, though it was nearly impossible to narrow down. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds! We love you guys!
